about

Welcome to my portfolio! I'm an art historian, specializing in the history of photography. I hold a PhD in Art History from the Université du Québéc à Montréal and a PhD in American Studies from the Université Paris Cité. My doctoral research explored the commemorative and heritage potential of American war photojournalism by studying the remediation of press photographs in war memorials. Passionate about the life of images—their persistence, reappearances, and transformations—I focus on practices that examine the circulation, reuse, and recontextualization of photographic images, particularly in relation to the concept of archives, whether familial or collective. Based primarily in Berlin since 2021, I am a member of analogueNOW, a collective dedicated to the promotion of analog photography practices and development of connections within Berlin’s photography scene.
